Before you begin

Make sure you have:

  • The Pump Air Lite 3 earbuds

  • The charging case

  • A Bluetooth-enabled device

Before charging, remove any protective paper tags covering the charging pins on the earbuds.

Step 1: Charge the earbuds

  1. Place both earbuds into the charging case

  2. Close the lid

  3. Charge the case using the supplied USB-C to USB-C cable

Charging before first use helps ensure stable pairing.

Step 2: Power on and enter pairing mode

  • Open the charging case lid

  • Remove both earbuds from the case

When used for the first time, the earbuds will automatically power on and enter Bluetooth pairing mode.

You will hear the voice prompt “Bluetooth pairing.”

Step 3: Pair with your device

  1. Open Bluetooth settings on your device

  2. Select “BlueAnt Pump Air Lite 3” from the available devices list

  3. Wait for the connection to complete

Once paired, you will hear “Connected,” and audio will play through the earbuds.

Step 4: Confirm fit and audio

  • Play audio to confirm sound is coming through both earbuds

  • Adjust ComfortSeal™ ear tips for comfort and stability

A secure fit improves comfort and call clarity.

Important notes

  • Both earbuds should be used during initial setup

  • If pairing does not start automatically, a reset may be required

  • Earbuds reconnect automatically to the last paired device

  • Pump Air Lite 3 does not support multipoint connections

If you’re experiencing issues with charging or battery performance, let me know what’s happening and I’ll guide you through the next steps.

Bluetooth & Connectivity

The BlueAnt Pump Air Lite 3 connects to devices using Bluetooth for wireless audio and hands-free calls.

It supports Bluetooth 6.0 for stable, fast everyday connectivity.

Pairing with a device

To pair Pump Air Lite 3:

  1. Remove both earbuds from the charging case

  2. Enable Bluetooth on your device

  3. Select “BlueAnt Pump Air Lite 3” from the available Bluetooth devices list

You will hear the voice prompt “Connected” once pairing is successful.

When first used, the earbuds automatically enter pairing mode and announce “Bluetooth pairing.”

Automatic reconnection

  • Earbuds reconnect automatically to the last paired device when removed from the charging case

  • If they do not reconnect, select them manually in Bluetooth settings

Pairing with a new device

  • Turn off Bluetooth on the currently connected device

  • The earbuds will announce “Disconnected,” followed by “Bluetooth pairing”

  • On the new device, select “BlueAnt Pump Air Lite3” to complete pairing

Using with multiple devices

  • Pump Air Lite 3 can be paired with multiple devices

  • Only one device can be connected at a time

  • Multipoint connectivity is not supported

Using a single earbud (mono mode)

  • Either earbud can be used on its own

  • Place the unused earbud back into the charging case

  • Audio and microphone functions continue through the active earbud

Connection tips

  • Keep earbuds within Bluetooth range (up to 10 metres in open space)

  • Avoid areas with heavy wireless interference

  • Ensure both earbuds are charged for best performance

Important notes

  • Bluetooth performance depends on environment and device

  • Audio dropouts may occur if the device is too far away

  • Some connection behaviour is controlled by the connected device

If you’re having trouble connecting or something isn’t working as expected, let me know what’s happening and I’ll guide you through the next steps

Battery & Charging

The BlueAnt Pump Air Lite 3 uses separate batteries in the earbuds and the charging case, allowing the earbuds to recharge automatically when stored between uses.

Pump Air Lite 3 provides up to 8 hours of playtime per charge, with up to 20 additional hours from the charging case - up to 28 hours total playtime (earbuds + case combined).

Actual battery life varies depending on listening volume, call usage, and usage conditions.

Charging the earbuds

  • Place both earbuds into the charging case

  • Ensure each earbud is seated correctly on the charging contacts

  • Earbuds power off and begin charging automatically when placed in the case

  • Earbuds take approximately 2.5 hours for a full charge

Charging the case

  • Charge the case using the supplied USB-C to USB-C cable

  • Connect to a powered USB source such as a wall adapter, computer, or power bank

  • The charging case takes approximately 2.5 hours for a full charge

  • Use only 5V/1A chargers

  • Wireless charging is not supported

USB-C rapid charging allows you to quickly top up the case for additional listening time.

Charging lights

The charging case has a dual colour light. While the case is charging, it stays solid white and periodically flashes red to show the charge level. One flash is 25 per cent, two is 50, three is 75, and four is 76 to 100 per cent. Once the light turns solid red, the case is fully charged and can be unplugged.

To check the case charge level when it is not charging, remove both earbuds and put them back in. The light will flash red the same way to show the level.

Each earbud shows a solid white light while charging. The light turns off once that earbud is fully charged. The left and right earbuds may charge at different rates.

Battery behaviour

  • Higher volume levels reduce playback time

  • Call usage increases battery consumption

  • Removing the earbuds from the case powers them on automatically

  • Returning the earbuds to the case powers them off and begins charging

  • The charging case must have power to recharge the earbuds

  • The earbuds announce low battery when there is roughly 30 minutes of playback remaining

Charging tips

  • Fully charge the case before extended use

  • Keep charging contacts clean and dry

  • Ensure the case lid is fully closed during charging

Important notes

  • Playtime figures are “up to” estimates and depend on usage

  • The charging case is not water resistant and should be kept away from moisture

  • IP55 protection applies to the earbuds only

If you’re experiencing issues with charging or battery performance, let me know what’s happening and I’ll guide you through the next steps.

  • Response depends on accurate button presses

  • Some call or assistant behaviour depends on the connected device

  • Controls do not adjust device system settings

Important notes

  • Pump Air Lite 3 does not support Active Noise Cancellation (ANC)

  • There are no listening modes or sound profile adjustments

  • Some playback behaviour may vary depending on the connected device or app

If the controls aren’t responding or something isn’t working as expected, let me know what’s happening and I’ll guide you through the next steps.

Calls & Microphone

The BlueAnt Pump Air Lite 3 earbuds include four built-in microphones designed to support hands-free phone calls and online meetings.

They use Environmental Noise Cancellation (ENC) to help reduce background noise around your voice during calls.

  • Press the multifunction button (MFB) once to answer an incoming call

  • Double press the MFB to end a call

  • Press and hold the MFB to reject a call

  • The microphone activates automatically during calls

Call behaviour may vary depending on the connected device and app.

Using a single earbud for calls

  • Either earbud can be used on its own

  • The microphone in the active earbud is used for calls

  • The unused earbud can be placed back into the charging case

This can be useful for awareness or extending battery life.

Call quality notes

  • ENC helps reduce background noise during calls

  • Loud environments, wind, or movement can still affect call quality

  • A secure ear tip fit helps improve microphone performance

Important notes

  • Pump Air Lite 3 does not use Active Noise Cancellation for listening

  • Call clarity depends on environment, fit, and device

  • Some apps manage microphone behaviour independently

If call quality isn’t working as expected or something seems off, let me know what’s happening and I’ll guide you through the next steps

Reset & Troubleshooting

If your BlueAnt Pump Air Lite 3 earbuds aren’t behaving as expected, resetting and re-syncing them can resolve most common issues such as pairing problems or one earbud not working.

Reset & Re-Sync Pump Air Lite 3

Before starting, remove the existing pairing from your phone. Once that is done, turn Bluetooth off.

  1. Remove any existing pairing from your phone

    • Remove “BlueAnt Pump Air Lite3” from your phone’s paired Bluetooth devices list

    • Ignore anything that appears as an available device for now

  2. Ensure the charging case is fully charged

    • The case LED will periodically flash red four times when fully charged

  3. Place both earbuds into the charging case

    • The LEDs on the earbuds should turn solid white, indicating they are charging

    • If an LED is flashing, adjust the earbud in the case until it becomes solid white

  4. Press and hold the MFB on both earbuds

    • Within the first few seconds of placing them in the case (while LEDs are solid white), press and hold the Multi-Function Button (MFB) on both earbuds for 10 seconds

    • Both LEDs will flash quickly twice – then release

If you don’t see the two fast flashes:

  • Ensure you started with solid white LEDs

  • If the earbuds switch off too quickly, leave them out of the case for about 10 minutes, then retry

  • If only one earbud flashes, reinsert both earbuds and start again

5. Complete re-syncing

  • Remove both earbuds from the case

  • Wait about 5 seconds for them to sync together

  1. Re-pair to your phone

  • Turn Bluetooth back ON

  • Select “BlueAnt Pump Air Lite3” from the Bluetooth list

Common Troubleshooting Tips

One earbud not working

  • Reset and re-sync the earbuds using the steps above

Won’t appear in Bluetooth list

  • Confirm Bluetooth is off before resetting, then ON only after re-sync completes

Audio cutting out

  • Move closer to the connected device and reduce interference

Charging issues

  • Ensure earbuds are seated correctly in the case and the case is fully charged

When troubleshooting does not resolve the issue

  • If your Pump Air Lite 3 earbuds remain faulty after completing all approved reset, Bluetooth, charging, or syncing troubleshooting, this may indicate a hardware fault

  • BlueAnt will guide you through the next warranty assessment steps for further review

FAQs

What are Pump Air Lite 3 built for?

Long days. 7mm drivers, Bluetooth 6.0, four mics with ENC, IP55 sweat resistance and up to 28 hours total with the case. Work, workouts, commuting, all-day listening — no app, no configuration.

Do they have noise cancelling?

No. Pump Air Lite 3 has no ANC and no listening modes. Any quiet comes from the seal of the ear tip.

It does have ENC, which is a different thing — four microphones cleaning up your voice on calls, not what you hear.

What is in the box?

  • Pump Air Lite 3 true wireless earbuds
  • Charging case with a carry loop
  • USB-C to USB-C charging cable
  • ComfortSeal™ ear tips in three sizes (S / M / L)
  • Quick start guide and user manual

No wall adapter included.

How long does the battery last?

Up to 8 hours from the earbuds on a single charge, plus about 20 hours more from the case — 28 hours total. The case holds roughly four full recharges.

A full charge takes about 2.5 hours for the earbuds and the same for the case. Use a 5V/1A charger only.

Can I charge it on a wireless pad?

No. USB-C only — wireless charging is not supported on this model.

Can it connect to two devices at once?

No. Multipoint is not supported. To move to another device, turn Bluetooth off on the connected one — the earbuds announce “Disconnected” then “Bluetooth pairing”, and you can select them on the new device.

How do the buttons work?

One press on either earbud plays or pauses. Double press the right to skip forward, the left to skip back. Press and hold the right for volume up, the left for volume down.

On calls: one press answers, double press ends, press and hold rejects. Triple press either earbud for Siri or Google Assistant.

How do I turn them on without the case?

Press and hold the button for about 2 seconds to power on, or 6 seconds to power off.

How do I get the fit right?

Three ear tip sizes come in the box. The tip should feel snug without pressure. If the earbuds feel loose or calls sound unclear, change size — the seal drives stability and microphone performance both.

Insert gently and rotate slightly until secure. Recheck after exercise.

Can I use one earbud on its own?

Yes. Either earbud works alone for audio and calls — put the other back in the case. Taking the second one out again returns you to stereo automatically, no re-pairing.

Only one earbud is working, or they will not sync.

Reset and re-sync. The timing matters on this model:

  1. Remove the old “BlueAnt Pump Air Lite 3” pairing from your phone and turn Bluetooth off
  2. Make sure the case is fully charged — its LED flashes red four times when full
  3. Put both earbuds in. Both LEDs must be solid white. A flashing LED means it is not seated — adjust it.
  4. Within the first few seconds, while the LEDs are still solid white, press and hold the button on both earbuds for 10 seconds, releasing when both flash quickly twice
  5. Take both out, wait about 5 seconds, then turn Bluetooth on and select Pump Air Lite 3

No two fast flashes? Check you started from solid white. If the earbuds switch off too quickly, leave them out of the case for about 10 minutes and try again.

I bought a single replacement earbud and it will not pair.

Expected — replacement earbuds do not pair automatically with your existing earbud. Run the full reset above first.

Can I use Pump Air Lite 2 parts on these?

No. Lite 3 parts are specific to Lite 3 and are not compatible with Lite 2 or any other Pump Air model. Left and right earbuds are sold separately.

Can I get them wet?

The earbuds are IP55 — sweat and light splashes are fine. The charging case is not water resistant, so keep that dry.

Will they work with my computer?

Yes — iOS, Android, Windows and macOS over standard Bluetooth audio, including video calls. Microphone behaviour varies by app. There is no wired audio option.
