Gift Cards

Validity. Your gift card is good for three years from the day it’s sent — the day you buy it, unless you schedule it for later. The expiry date is on the card.

How they work. Every card carries a unique code, and whoever holds that code can spend it. Forward it, print it, write it in a card — up to you. Treat the code like cash: if it’s lost, or sent to the wrong address, we can’t replace it. Check the recipient’s email carefully before you pay.

Where you can use it. At blueant.com.au only — the full range, spare parts and accessories included. A few things sit outside that: you can’t use it to buy another gift card, you can’t use it with retailers who stock BlueAnt, and a small number of products aren’t sold through our own checkout. Ask us first if you’re unsure.

Redeeming it. Enter the code in the gift card field at checkout — it isn’t case sensitive. It covers the whole order, shipping and GST included, and you can use more than one card on the same order. All amounts are in Australian dollars.

Using the balance. Spend it across as many orders as you like until it runs out. If your order costs more than the balance, pay the difference by card. If it costs less, the rest stays on your gift card.

Checking the balance. The link in your gift card email shows the current balance any time you open it, and where available you can add the card to Apple Wallet from that page. Lost the email but still have the code? Send us the last four characters and we’ll look it up. If you’ve lost the code itself, we can’t recover or replace it — keep it somewhere safe.

Sending it later. You can schedule a card to arrive up to 90 days ahead, on the date you pick. We can’t set a specific time of day.

Fees. None. No activation, account-keeping, balance-enquiry or inactivity fees, and nothing is ever deducted from your balance.

Discounts and sales. A gift card is a way to pay, not a discount. Spend it on sale items and use it alongside a discount code — the code comes off first, your card covers what’s left. Buying one runs the other way: we don’t apply discount codes or promotions to the purchase of a gift card itself.

Not cash. A gift card spends like money at our checkout, but it isn’t cash. We can’t exchange it for cash, pay it back to your bank, or top it up.

Change of mind. Gift cards aren’t returnable for change of mind. That doesn’t affect your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.

If an order is refunded. If the order that paid for a gift card is refunded or reversed, that card is cancelled — balance and all, including cards already sent to someone else.

GST. No GST when you buy a gift card. GST applies to the goods when you spend it.
