What is the StreamX?

The StreamX is a unidirectional Cardioid polar pattern USB LED microphone.
and supports upto 24 bit / 192kHz sample rate.

How do I connect the StreamX?

The StreamX has a USB-C port at the bottom, please connect the included braided cable into this port and the USB-A end of the cable into your computer.

The StreamX also comes with a USB-A to USB-C adaptor so it can be used with either type of port.

How do I change the LED colour on the StreamX?

The StreamX cycles through colours by default when plugged in.
To change to a single colour or to turn off the LED please press the LED button. Each press will cycle through the colours.

How do I mute or unmute on the StreamX?

Tap the top of the microphone to mute or unmute the StreamX.
When you mute the StreamX the LED turns off, to show you it is muted.

You can also mute or unmute the StreamX by pressing the headphone button.

How do I use a headphone with the StreamX?

The bottom of the StreamX has a 3.5mm headphone port.

How to change the headphone volume on the StreamX?

The first dial on the Stream has a headphone icon.
This dial controls the volume of the computer audio that is being fed to the StreamX and played through the connected headphones.

When you plug in the StreamX the computer will automatically reroute the audio output to the StreamX headphone port.

How do I the microphone gain volume on the Streamx?

The second dial on the StreamX is labelled "MIC" and refers to the level of gain for the microphone. If you find that the StreamX is picking up your voice too loudly or too much background noise try adjusting the microphone gain downwards.

How do I use a monitoring volume with the StreamX?

The third dial on the StreamX is for the monitoring volume.
This level is how much of yourself you will hear in your connected headphones via zero latency monitoring.

What is the best position to place the StreamX?

The best position is about 30cm away from you you the buttons pointing towards you.

The StreamX is sensitive on the front side where the LED mesh is and not on the top. Do not speak into the top of the microphone.

Once you have the position correct you can tighten the screws on the side of the desktop stand to lock the StremX into position.

Do I need a pop filter to user the StreamX?

The StreamX features a built-in pop filter to improve performance.

If you find that you are having issues with this please adjust the microphone gain and/or the position of your microphone.

Can I use the StreamX with a boom microphone stand?

The StreamX comes with a desktop stand and a U-Bracket with 3/8" to 5/8" Adaptor to allow it to work with a boom microphone stand or other microphone stand. These stands are sold separately.

What does the StreamX work with?

The StreamX will work with Windows 7 or above, Mac 10.10 or above, PS4 and PS5.

If you have an Lightning to USB-C adaptor it can also work with an iPad or iPhone.
If your Android phone supports USB-C mic it can also work with that.
